Easter Crafting and a Giveaway winner

Thanks everyone for letting me know you're there.

Its helpful to know how different people pop by because you all see different things depending on your reader and it helps me make this a fun and interesting place to be.

The reason I started out blogging was to speak my intention to the world, so yup basically all about me doing craft to keep me sane...now I want it to be a resource for myself, but also to energise, encourage and inspire you to make [your] life beautiful do you see what I did there?.  I'm smiling a very wry smile as I look up from writing this post at the disaster area a.k.a. my livingroom, but y'know the intention is there!!

I must admit even though I've signed up for goggle analytics, I don't have the faintest idea how to use it.  I feel like I took time out to have a family and 'missed the [technology] bus' as it were.  In a former life I actually used to teach adult computer studies and worked on a helpdesk.  But that was before kids.  Is it just me - or am I being a complete dinosaur?  If you know any good blogs or sites that tell you how to set up and read the info in analytics I'm all ears.

So - blah, blah, blah - I digress....I chose a winner using the Random Number generator at Random.org, but do you think I could copy it across to here?  Nope.  So you'll just have to take my word for it - AnnieB, congratulations you are my winner.

I'm really please to be able to send Annie this prize as she is always 'paying it forward' to other people and I see from her recent posts she hasn't been feeling that flash - so I do hope my parcel puts a smile on your dial, Annie.

For those of you who love giveaways, I have a friend who has generously donated some of her patterns.  I'm just waiting for them to turn up in the post before I get that one cranking, maybe I'll just wait until after Easter.

Easter - I can't believe that's next week.  Are you doing any creative projects specifically for Easter?  Here are a few links to some Easter craftiness...there is still time.

I have a hankering to make the softies - they are kind of season appropriate, but I just want to make 'em 'cos there cute and I get to use up some more scraps from the scrap pile.  I also want to make Lala a bunny ear hood - I can just imagine her hopping around with it on, I can't find anything tutorial wise, so if I get time I'm just going to have to put something together myself.

  1. Yay - congrats to Annie! I'm sure she's going to love it :) I've run myself completely out of time to do any Easter crafting so look forward to see what you make. Cant help you with analytics, but looking forward to seeing what the next 200 crafty posts produce :)
