My Creative Space: Down time

Laid up in bed this last week I have missed my sewing machine *sniff*

What's a girl to do?  Lots and lots of crochet hats (most like the one I made my bestie recently)....

girl's boys and women's hats....

.....topped off with vintage buttons.

Lala had much fun sorting and finding buttons for her own button jar.  Now there are buttons everywhere *shrug*

Between hats I've been doing a few rows of  blanket making.  The blanket is coming along, but still a wee way to go before the 'big reveal'.

Check out some more creative spaces here

  13. Hi Nin, just dropping in to say thanks so much for applique the class you taught at Handmade. I was doing a simple butterfly applique that my daughter had drawn - I finished it and have finally made it into a book bag for school. I've blogged about it and there's a few pics of the finished article. Cheers, Lesley. P.S. Love the hats, colours are gorgeous :)
