Travelling Stash Box

So as a beautiful distraction to school holidays and renovations and summer stock making, the much anticipated travelling stash box was dropped to my door by Amy.  To say brimming would be an understatement - the length of lace tying the lid on was so tight it needed cutting  sorry.

This is what lay within:

What has come to live with me:

What went off to Hannah, the next in line for the box:

A Japanese patchwork book
4 metres of lovely fabric just right for children's dresses
pompoms
vintage buttons
various big scraps and fat quarters
scrapbooking stuff - a punch, transfer kit and journalling/gift tags
yarn
ribbons
eyelets
beads
felt hearts
teeny-tiny pegs
vintage buttons.....

Now here's hoping I can get some of this new stash crafted up by Christmas.  The process has been very inspiring.  Thanks go to Cat for organising this.
